No Love Lost During These NBA Playoffs
What’s going on y’all. Trey Fraser here in the house. Man, I tell you. These NBA Playoffs have been mad fun to watch since they started jumpin off a week ago. It’s not just the fresh young talent we’re seeing perform. It’s not just the fact that the NBA Finals could have someone other than Golden State or Cleveland. It’s the fact that these teams have been feisty in these playoffs.
As I was typing this blog up, I was watching the Jazz/Thunder Game 4 (yeah, I was up late prepping for the Podcast for today) and man, Paul George and Joe Ingles going at each other, Rubio and Westbrook getting feisty, Rudy Gobert and Raymond Felton got at it, and now Jae Crowder and Melo had some words. This reminds me of the old ‘90s NBA when dudes clotheslined you coming down the lane and dudes getting in each other’s face. I love it!
Almost every series has had a heated confrontation in it.
Sixers vs Heat had Ben Simmons and James Johnson face to face while Justise Winslow stepped on Joel Embiid’s mask on purpose.
Bucks vs Celtics had Terry Rozier and Eric Bledsoe at each other.
Pacers vs Cavs has Lance Stephenson taking down Jeff Green like a linebacker on a running back.
Wizards vs Raptors had Ikaba spaz on John Wall and Anonuby pushed someone on the Wizards.
There was also some shoving between Etwan Moore and CJ McCollum in the Blazers/Pelicans series.
Folks, enjoy the rest of the NBA Playoffs. I guarantee there will be more fireworks en route to the Finals!
